  6. embed.datatype - experimental project

  8. The embed.datatype project shows a system-conform way to
  9. embed boopsi gadgets (datatypes) in other boopsi gadgets (datatypes).
  10.  
  11. The embedded gadgets can be displayed and used as normal, e.g.
  12. a document can embed an animation.datatype gadget and the user
  13. can still use the control panel of the animation.datatype !!
  14.  
  15. This includes clipping support, e.g. the embedded object will be clipped
  16. at the parents bounds.
  17.  
  18. This way is system-conform. NO LAYER HACKS. It does even not use any
  19. layer functions for it's functionality nor fiddels manually with any layer
  20. structures.

  22. Currently, this works only for datatypesclass objects; support for other
  23. BOOPSI gadgets (like calendar.gadget or a propgadget) is a little bit broken yet.
